Policy Administration Supervisor/Assistant Manager

Role purpose
To ensure daily activities of Policy Admin team are in line with defined processes, standards and regulations.

Key Accountabilities
  • To supervise the daily transactions of policy alteration, valuation and premium control to ensure services standards and compliance
  • Control customer data report from nonexclusive/ exclusive partners timely and exactly
  • To review, update the working procedures and ensure the procedures are clear and easy to understand so that staff and apply the procedure in their daily work effectively
  • Define requirements for system enhancement/development to support the operation more effectively. Cooperate with IT in business requirement finalizing and UAT execution
  • Check data/reports of policy alteration, policy valuation and premium reconciliation
  • Perform periodical audit on policy alteration, valuation, premium collection and payment and propose solution for correction and error prevention plan
  • Manage effectively scanning and filling documents
  • Manage printing documents (in-out)
  • Prepare management reports and statutory reports relating to Policy alteration, policy valuation and premium matters
  • To delegate, coach and support staffs in performing their daily tasks
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education: Bachelor degree. University Degree in Insurance, Economic, Commercial or related majors.
Other required Degree, Professional Qualifications and Certifications:
Life insurance certificates: LOMA 280, 290, 301
Technical/ Professional/ Specific Competency Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with visionary traits
  • Ability to communicate a vision and lead, guide, motivate team members towards the  achievement of goals, business objectives and service standards
  • Has initiative and drive to constantly review and enhance workflows of section to maximize operational effectiveness
  • Ability to identify, analyze, organize and solve issues and reported problems in a timely and effective manner 
  • Good time management skill, able to priorities work to ensure efficiency
Relevant Working Experience
3 years of experience in policy administrative supervisor roles in life insurance. 3 years of experience in Customer Service/ life insurance.
Required Languages
Fluent Vietnamese. Proficient in English and Vietnamese both in speaking and writing.
Information technology/ Technical tools
  • Knowledge in computer software and information system
  • Knowledge of contract/ life insurance
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer skills
Personality Requirements  
  • Discipline, honest, careful, calm
  • High responsibility, high commitment, team spirit
  • Able to work  under tight deadlines and high pressure
  • Self-motivated.
